This piece is part of one of my favorite personal collections to date, the Appalachian Mountain series. The series has seen many iterations over the years — they’ve included crescent moons, planets, shooting stars and sunsets. I’ve added in barns, gold stars, clouds and even the occasional UFO. The scenes may change, but usually include the signature rolling mountains of Appalachia in the view.
This necklace was handcrafted from start to finish, featuring copper mountains under a 14k gold plated crescent moon. The sky and backplate are sterling silver.
