FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
CUSTOM ORDERS
If you would like a custom order, please send me a message. Keep in mind that due to shows and other custom orders, the time it takes to create your special piece will vary. I love doing custom orders, but in order to ensure your piece gets the attention it deserves this often takes 4-6 weeks (or more) to fabricate. I reserve the right to refuse custom orders at certain times of the year - please keep in mind that all my pieces are made one at a time by a single individual.
WHOLESALE INQUIRIES
If you are interested in a wholesale order, please contact me directly for pricing information. Keep in mind that each piece is handcrafted individually so the time it takes to put together a wholesale order varies. Minimum orders may apply.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Most of my work is based in sterling silver, which will naturally tarnish over time. In order to remove tarnish, a simple polishing cloth will do the trick. You can find these affordable jewelry savers online. For pieces with a “darkened” silver look, this is achieved with a patina that can wear off over time. This is not a quality issue.
RETURN POLICY
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at jarodcox13@gmail.com.
SHIPPING POLICY
All orders are processed within 1 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). After receiving your order confirmation email, you will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control may be possible.
SHIPPING RATES
We currently offer FREE shipping within the United States.
If you are located outside the US, shipping price will vary based on address provided. International customers please inquire about shipping prior to placing your order. International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Fishing Creek Jewelry is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
LOCAL PICKUP
Free local pickup available at the studio in Nancy, KY. My studio is not open to the public currently, so please reach out to me directly to arrange for local pickup (using the contact form below).
ORDER STATUS
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at jarodcox13@gmail.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
